Computer Centre


In the 21st century, the age of Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, well-developed and modernization in computer knowledge has become the need of the hour. Understanding the urgency of Computer Education in the teaching arena, arrangements for teaching using computer techniques have been adapted in this college since 2009. At present the college has a separate well-equipped and sophisticated computer centre with the latest upgraded version in computers.

Library


A well maintained library strengthens the students mental and literacy quest, and teaches students how to enhance their research skills. Bavisgam B.Ed.College has facilitated the students and the staff with a separate well furnished and spacious room for the library. There is a collection of more than 6000 books. E- Books with internet facility in computers are also provided for Students.Numerous newspapers and periodicals are also issued for updated references.

Cultural Activities


To revive our culture and amalgamate it with the evolving global trends of cultural mix, students are encouraged under the mentorship of efficient staff to organize cultural- value based programme. The college since 2009, has been organizing competitions for teacher-trainees for various events of the likes; Prayer & Assembly, Edu-fest, Seminars, Publication Activities, Educational-Excursion, One day Picnics, Community outreach, Talent Search Programme, Micro- Teaching competition, Debate, Mehndi & Rangoli Activities, Celebrations of Specific days, Sports and Games, lectures by Experts etc.

Audio-Visual Room:


Institute’s has a Audio-Visual room, which is equipped with latest LCD projector for visual teaching and presentation.

Teacher Trainee Association (TTA)


To keep relationships active for the passed out Teacher-Trainees with their Alma- Mater, the TTA has been formed and maintained by Bavisgam “B.Ed” college with a membership structure, which allows former students to come together and reconnect with their peers, faculty members, and college Admin., who ensures support and advocates for teachers, providing them with opportunities for net-working, learning and collaboration, Moreover, these TTA also serve as a platform for the institute to engage with their graduates and gain insights into their career progress and achievements. The college organises the annual TTA meet where the Mentors and Mentored look forward to come together happily.

Student Accommodation (Girls’ Hostel):


Shri Bavis Gam Charotar Leuve Patidar Samaj (Matrusnastha) has recently started a girls hostel for girls of school and B.Ed. college in January 2006. The Morden facilities are provided by hostel and education. The Girls’ Hostel has 16 rooms with attached toilet and bathrooms. The building has other facilities dining hall, reading room, entertainment hall, etc. The capacity of Girls’ Hostel is to accommodate 100 girls.

Strength


The present strength of the college for 1st year intake is 54. This figure speaks for itself in regard to the academic standards maintained and extra-curricular activities run for students. Each year the college gets an increasingly high number of new applications, not at all an astonishing fact with regards to the overall progress the college is making.

Psychology laboratory


Bavisgam B.Ed. College is equipped with a psychology-laboratorywherein various psychological tests and experiments are available. This becomes essential for trainee-teachers to acquaint themselves with standardized tests/scales based on relevant dimensions of performance thereby enabling teachers understand the human mental and emotional states.

Sports


Bavisgam B. Ed. College organizes Sports-day every year. In regular days various in-door and out-door games and other recreational facilities are also available to enhance confidence, leadership, social-skills, emotional strength, discipline and fitness in students.

Science laboratory


Bavisgam B. Ed. College has well maintained Science laboratory with experimental Instruments etc.in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Charts and models of human body, solar system etc. gives students a sense of how the theoretical concepts they learn can be applied to the real world thus making teaching and learning interesting and fun.
